Epson reported strong revenue and profit growth in its second quarter financial results, despite “skyrocketing” materials and logistics costs. Epson’s Q2 revenue of ¥335.2bn was up ¥66.8bn or 25% on the previous year, with ¥23.7bn in profit for the period (up ¥4.7bn).

It's the Awards Season and the surprise event was the ProPrint magazine 'Top50' Awards held at Sydney's Shangri-La Ballroom at The Rocks. Around 350 industry people gathered there for a glittering evening hosted by Sam McCool of PacPrint fame and with Durst as the major sponsor and a raft of who's-who sponsors supporting them. Avery Dennison Corporation said net sales for its third quarter ended October 1, 2022 increased by 11.8% to $2.3 billion - “despite ongoing inflationary pressures, currency headwinds and increasing economic uncertainty” - with earnings per share (EPS) up 38%.
