Campaign against domestic violence wins new Outdoor prize

The federal government’s Stop it at the Start campaign against domestic violence - printed by Mint Imaging in Brisbane and Sydney’s Blow Up Imaging - has won the new “Out of Home for Good” category in the Outdoor Media Association’s (OMA) First Creative Collection competition for 2021. Cactus Imaging and Grant Print Services were also winners.

Budget paves way for small business-led recovery: ASBFEO

Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) Bruce Billson says the 2021 budget is “a clear acknowledgement that small and family businesses are central to the nation’s economic recovery and future prosperity.” JobTrainer has been extended for another year and small businesses can continue to write-off the full value of assets purchased until 2023.
Meanwhile, unions 
slammed the budget as failing the manufacturing sector.

Ricoh takes $A1.4bn (¥124.4bn) Covid hit as recovery begins

Ricoh posted an operating loss of ¥45.4 billion for the year ended March 31, 2021, down ¥124.4bn from the previous year’s profit of ¥79bn. But the global print technology company says the recovery is underway and predicts a return to a profit of ¥50bn in the current financial year.
