Mutoh has released the XpertJet 1682WR, a 162cm-wide, 8 channel piezo drop-on-demand roll-fed dye sublimation inkjet printer - the successor to Mutoh’s award winning ValueJet 1638WX dye sub printer. It's due to arrive in Australia in May and Mutoh Australia is now accepting pre-orders.

ASTRO America will manage a new U.S. Army initiative to build the world’s largest metal 3D printer to produce combat ground vehicle hulls.
