Game on! Visual Impact Brisbane opens tomorrow!

Adobe announces a 'democratic' printer-agnostic design-to-print platform

Faced with more restrictive 'closed loop' design-to-print offerings announced at drupa, Adobe Express users can now design and order printed products with new add-ons, built in partnership with Adobe Express Embed SDK partners. Adobe says its growing open partner ecosystem will be available to any printer, anywhere and not restricted to any one brand of press network.

The 'right Stuff' wins at NZ Pride in Print Awards + MCC takes Supreme Award + Admark for Sign&Display

Quality at highest speed has earned Wellington firm, Stuff Ltd., the Publications Category in New Zealand's Pride in Print Awards, claiming the the 2024 Pride In Print Publications Category for its production of The Post Weekend Te Upoko O Te Ika, December 9th Edition 2023. Also, the Supreme Award was won by MCC Albany. The Sign&Display award was won by Admark Visual Imaging.

Randall Mertz takes on the role of Executive Vice President Americas (Canada, USA, South America). Epson wins WorldStar packaging award for cushioning material made from used copy paper

Epson has announced that its high-performance cushioning material made from used copier paper has won a 2024 WorldStar Global Packaging Award in the Electronics category. This is the second time that Epson has received a WorldStar Award, the first being in 2007 for ink packaging for large-format inkjet printers.

Industry and LIA mourn loss of Warwick Roden of Roden Print & Packaging

This year marked the 50th Anniversary of Warwick Roden's establishing of Roden Print & Packaging. Sadly, it is also the year of his passing. Always an active member of the Lithographic Institute of Australia and  big supporter of industry training and development; Warwick and his sons took the firm (now part of the Immij group) into digital print and packaging at an early stage. His passing leaves a huge void in the industry and he will be missed greatly.
