Shae Goom appointed president NZSDA

Shae Goom, owner of Wise Studios (formerly Signwise), has been voted president of the New Zealand Sign & Display Association (NZSDA) for a two-year term. He succeeds former president Andy Lowe, who stepped down after two years but remains on the board.

Opal to shut down 1 of 3 pulp plants at Maryvale

Opal Australian Paper has applied to the EPA to downsize its Maryvale Mill as it transitions to 100% brown packaging paper production following the closure of its white paper operations. Opal is also seeking changes to the mill’s emissions discharge limits.

Beware Artificial Intelligence pitfalls - a cautionary tale to let Real Intelligence prevail

Roland DG launches cardboard-based ink cartridges

New recyclable cardboard cartridges will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 350 tons and plastic by about 95 tons per year, according to Roland DG Corporation, the global manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers for advertising and signage.

Epson and Nakazato unveil ‘future of sustainable fashion’

LED specialist Vailo expands into larger automated factory
