The trains were up the spout for much of the show and the heavens opened with a torrential daily downpour, but this did little to dampen the spirits of the thousands who attended the four-day event, where colour explosion, sustainable solutions, DTF and DTG options were all upstaged by the rush to see, source and buy new finishing solutions.

For those of us who rely heavily on the pull-up poster banners seen at every trade show and every one-person speaker presentation, SAS (Signage Accessories Suppliers) showcased an innovative new opportunity in that space at PacPrint with its 'portable' digital LED equivalent.

Canon and Currie Group use PacPrint to prove ‘Business in a Box’ model

Currie Group showcased a stand-alone concept stand, dominated by the imposing Canon Colorado M-series a fully modular, scalable 1.6m UVgel roll-to-roll printer for large-format graphics, in this case running white ink as an option to demonstrate its versatility. With full remote control over all elements of the press a reality, Currie Group and Canon Production Printing let the kit do the talking in their Business in a Box strategy for the show.

Reacon and Mail Marketing Works update - back into admin.

The on-going saga of Reacon companies (Group, Holdings, Australia) and subsidiary Mail Marketing Works took an about-face on May 23rd, as PacPrint was coming to a close. Reacon Australia (in Liquidation) is now back into Administration, with a DOCA to be proposed while Mail Marketing Works Pty Ltd will be liquidated. 

Avery Dennison ‘wraps up’ at PacPrint with show’s best wrappers

The giant digital clock was still ticking over on the final day of PacPrint, but the results had already been counted by then and Day Two winner, Jordan Amos had just pipped Sam Saqqaf (winner Day One) and Ryan Wilson (winner Day Three) to the post as Avery Dennison Wrap Battle Champion 2025.

Yes, there was 'heavy metal' at PacPrint!

It's sad that there were no offset presses at PacPrint 2025 but wait, there WAS heavy metal and how wonderful it was too. Over on the Penrith Museum of Printing stand you could find a stunning example of a mid-1800s Columbian Letterpress - an Arab - with lots of metal type and early copies of 'The Land', 'Sydney Morning Herald' and other newspapers.

PacPrint's global appeal brings many international visitors

On several PacPrint stands there were visitors for manufacturing principals from Japan, Europe, UK, United States and elsewhere in Asia. It's great to see these people visiting Australia and our show. Oh, we must not forget our cousins from across the ditch - a big party of Kiwis came across too!

Stick On Signs swings into gear with 3 Neschen Coldlam laminator sales ‘off the stand’ by PacPrint midway point

Melbourne-based Red Exhibitions & Displays were the first company to snap up one of the new Neschen Coldlam 1650 SW Laminators being shown on the Stick On Signs Stand E68 at PacPrint 2025, with the two new swing-out shafts allow for easier and safer loading and unloading of rolls a real selling point.

Celmac offers first glimpse of next generation Roland DG DA-640 Dimense 'printer at PacPrint

The veil of secrecy behind a closed-off room on the Celmac stand was lifted midway through the PacPrint show as the doors opened to reveal the next generation Roland DG DA-640 Dimense printer, surrounded by a wide range of different 'wallpapers' reflecting the various substartes the 3D-effect Dimense -technology can be applied to, delivering outstanding textured print results.
