All Flags (Wagener Holdings) administration leaves $6.8 million in unsecured creditors

The End of Administration return submitted to ASIC by the administrators of Wagener Holdings Pty Ltd and subsidiary companies including All Flags and Europoles, reveals that unsecured creditors are owed a whopping $6.8 million dollars and are unlikely to see any return.

Very sad news is that Starleaton. industry supplier across Australia and New Zealand, is now in administration. Establishd by Peter and Lea Eaton in 1978, the present holding company is directed by siblings Ben, Josh and Melissa, with Peter and Lea retiring in 2017.

Late in the year, we saw a flurry on installations of mostly flatbed printers and suppliers indicate that 2024 order books are looking good.

SCREEN notches up 20,000 CtP installs, revamps PlateRite setter range

While SCREEN is very active with inkjet technologies, computer-to-plate might seem a mature market but it is far from a ‘sunset’ one.  Market leader Screen GP continues to upgrade its PlateRite range of 4pp, 8pp and VLF devices and has recently passed the 20,000-mark in CtP units shipped worldwide, which includes OEM models.

Xerox to slash 15% of its workforce, restructures and 're-invents'

2024 hasn't started too well for approximately 3,000 Xerox employees, who stand to loose their jobs in the first quarter. January 3rd saw an announcement to the NASQAQ stock exchange that 15% of its 20,000 workforce is planned to be axed. This reflects a growing trend in the tech sector which, according to CNN, shed over 262,000 jobs in 2023, compounding on 165,000 layoffs in 2022.
