Service Graphics Produces World’s Largest Advent Calendar for St Pancras Station, London

Service Graphics, the large format print and display arm of St Ives PLC in the UK, has printed and installed the world’s largest advent calendar at London’s new ‘International’ train station, St Pancras. Produced as part of its ‘Meet me at St Pancras’ campaign, supporting the station’s positioning as a meeting place or ‘destination station’, the 2685sqm of graphics formed a key part of the station’s Christmas celebrations.

Melbourne based shopfitting and display company, Display Design says that in comparison to traditional “T” type lamp, back lit light boxes using LED lighting, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 75%. Moreover, lamp life expectancy increases by up to 80% offering the end user up to 100,000 hours or, in annual terms, approximately 27 years of maintenance free use. (*figures quoted are approximated based on an average 7 day, daily usage rate of 10 hours).
