Xerox and Ricoh both post 20%+ gains in latest financial reports

Xerox recorded revenue of $US1.79 billion for second quarter 2021, an increase of 22.4% from second quarter 2020, with net income up $US64 million.  Ricoh’s first quarter sales of ¥424.8 billion ($A5.2bn) were up 20.6% compared to the previous corresponding period, when the spread of COVID-19 led to a sharp decline in global economic activity.

FPLMA postpones conference due to ongoing lockdowns

Label & Packaging association, the FPLMA has postponed its national conference scheduled for next month to February 2022, because of the threat of Covid-19 lockdowns. “The uncertainty that exists with the threat of ongoing lockdowns and the growing number of exposure sites raises a doubt to the viability of the conference as planned,” said FPLMA secretary Anthony Dalleore.

Omnigraphics ramps up production to 1,450 sqm/hr with Inca Onset X3-HS

With the HS upgrade, Port Melbourne, Vic, based Omnigraphics now operates its Inca Onset at up to 1,450 square metres per hour - the fastest in Australia. In addition, automation and robotics have reduced job handling and change-overs to one-fortieth of what they once were. it was supplied by Fujifilm and made in the UK by the Screen-subsidiary Inca Digital.

Fairview rebuts claims on non-cooperation in ACP class action case

Aluminium Composite Materials manufacturer Fairview Architectural has issued a strong rebuttal of claims published on the Lawyerly website at the initiation of class action law firm Omni Bridgeway, that it is not fully cooperating with document discovery. Epson posts profit hike with significant growth in Commercial & industrial printing

Epson reported ¥282.1 billion in first quarter revenue for fiscal year 2021, up 46% year on year from ¥193.2 billion in Covid-plagued Q1 2020. Business profit was ¥24.2 billion, up 455% year on year from ¥4.3 billion in Q1 2020.

ASIC prosecutes Konica Minolta Australia for failing to lodge financial reports

Canon back to profit as global economy ‘trends toward recovery’
