Fujifilm launches ‘new blueprint for wide format': Acuity Prime flatbed & superwide Acuity Ultra R2

Following the end of its OEM manufacturing agreement with Canon (formerly the Oce Arizona), Fujifilm has unveiled a new development in its wide format inkjet strategy – a new range built around a ‘new blueprint’ for wide format inkjet printers – “in terms of price/performance and ROI, versatility and value, and ease of use.”

Avinci CX3200 drives Agfa’s expansion into soft signage

It's a highly complex case that is dragging on and on but in a critical move, the Court has ordered discovery of documents, emails and other materials going back to 2015. This is effectively a subpoening of all records cited and most of the documents and emails will have to be discovered by Fujifilm, who no longer trade as Fuji Xerox. The list names names that reads like a 'who's who' of FXA and Fujifilm senior management over the past six years.

Fujifilm refused to pay ransomware demand

Fujifilm refused to pay a ransom demand to hackers who broke into one of its networks and forced the company to shut down some of its systems, according to a tech news site. The print giant reportedly used its backup systems to restore global operations.

Govt. failed to protect "burnt" Ovato print workers says AMWU

The union representing Ovato print workers who were forced to apply for their redundancies through the Fair Entitlement Guarantee (FEG) says former Attorney-General Christian Porter knew of the plan and did nothing to protect workers. “The Ovato case sets a dangerous precedent,” said the AMWU, which has called for legislative change.
