Each year, a panel of independent experts of the European Digital Press Association reviews printing products that are new to the European market, evaluating them in terms of productivity, quality, usability, cost, and environmental impact – granting awards to the most groundbreaking ones.
This year, Fujifilm Business Innovation secured awards in the following three categories:
Inks & Substrates, Best Water-Based Inks Award: AQUAFUZE
Drawing on more than 70 years of ink development history, AQUAFUZE is a water-based LED UV inkjet technology built on a unique photopolymer and intelligent dispersion. The UV-curable aqueous ink combines the formulation technologies of both water-based and UV-curable inks, effectively negating previous challenges associated with breaking down UV oligomers and monomers, which would cause poor prints and head blockages. Used in the 1.6 m-wide Acuity Triton, which was launched at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Germany, the AQUAFUZE technology delivers new value in wide-format inkjet printing, by providing safe, odourless ink with high durability during printing, and offers excellent rub resistance and compatibility with a variety of print substrates.

The Fujifilm DE1024 Printbar System is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing label presses and other narrow-web machines to add spot varnish flair without additional press. It features the StarFire SG1024 printhead, which enables a high-jet and reliable, robust performance. The Fujifilm DE1024 Printbar is available in a variety of widths and single or dual printbar configurations for a range of varnish thicknesses, gloss or a tactile, raised effects.
