One of many new innovations being demonstrated by Mimaki at FESPA Global Print Expo – Hall 1.2 / Stand B20 - is the JV200-160 Roll-to-Roll printer, developed for more efficient production of high-quality signage.
Mimaki's new JV200-160 Roll-to-Roll printer technology is one of many new innovations Mimaki will show at FESPA
Mimaki’s JV200-160 offers a number of productivity-enhancing functions and is designed for ease-of-use and maintenance, while printing high quality signage at production speeds up to 17.0 m2/h (among the highest in its class for entry-level printers).
Arjen Evertse, Director Sales at Mimaki Europe, says “Our CJV200 Series of integrated printer/cutters, introduced last October, Mimaki Europe Director Sales Arjen Evertse has been extremely well received by the market. The new JV200-160 provides customers with even more opportunities to expand their business with new print capabilities. For example, companies that already own cutting machines for post-print processing, but are looking to add high-quality print while maintaining their current workflow, can now benefit from this new technology. When paired with a Mimaki cutting plotter, the JV200-160 can also benefit from our unique ID Cut function, which automates print-and-cut processes with minimal operator intervention, reducing the risk of human error.”
Mimaki’s SS22 eco-solvent ink is also available with the JV200-160. SS22 ink reduces odour by approximately 40% and does not contain GBL, the use of which has been increasingly regulated around the world, while still providing industry-leading outdoor weather resistance. The JV200-160 also supports Mimaki’s SS21 and BS4 ink sets, giving customers greater flexibility to choose the solution that best suits their production needs.
Other features include an Ink Saving function - which reduces ink costs in just two clicks, while maintaining natural colours - and an automatic media adjustment function (Dot Adjustment System) which enables easy and accurate pre-print adjustment. Mimaki’s Printer Information Cloud Technology (PICT) also optimises ink efficiency and maintenance, as well as providing the option for remote monitoring, grouped management, and improved data precision.
